; choose your own adventure book!
my choose your own adventure book was 'the lost jewels of nabooti.' while i loved choose your own adventure books when i was younger, i forgot how addictive they are. i was originally only going to go through the book 3 or 4 different ways, but ended up going through it as many different ways as i could just to get to all the different endings. i only died 3 times (i think), but most of the other endings were fairly generic and could have gone either way, and a few were totally random. only two could have been considered 'good endings,' and even those two didn't really give a resolution, which was definitely frustrating. still, it was a lot of fun to go through the book a bunch of times to read the different endings and to see what i considered the 'best' ending and how hard it was to get there. i love reading normally, and the ability to change the story in such drastic ways really is a fun change from a normal linear story that you only interact with by using your own imagination - the choose your own adventure book allows you to actually alter tha story with the choices you make.
